The balloon and confetti theme of the Coonley Playhouse art glass designs are among the finest examples of Mr. Wright's abstract art. Working together with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and The National Center for the Study of Frank Lloyd Wright, our craftsmen were able to create exact replicas of each of the thirty-nine art glass windows using the original documentation from the early 1900s.

2006: Two additional Coonley Playhouse Clerestory windows from the collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York have been approved and licensed for reproduction. The two windows vary slightly in design and deeper glass tone from the Coonley 1 and 2 pieces. New Coonley MOMA-1 shown below.

In 1988, Oakbrook Esser Studios was commissioned by the owners of the Coonley Playhouse to reproduce all of the home's art glass which had been previously sold at auction. Working together with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and The National Center for the Study of Frank Lloyd Wright. Our craftsmen were able to create exact replicas of each of the thirty-nine art glass windows using original the documentation from the early 1900's.
